I shamelessly order delivery from this front street location about once a week when I'm feeling lazy, because it is THAT good. Always consistent, always fresh, and they always accommodate any special requests perfectly. The amount of food you get with one slice is a deal you can't beat- hands down the best pizza in Altoona. Thank you for all that you do!!!❤️

I tried calling about 50 times tonight and no one ever answers the phone. This isn't the first time either. All I wanted was some grilled chicken salads. Which are the best in town. I gave you 5 stars bc your food is amazing. But in reality I give you a one star for not answering the phone.

Picked it up fresh and ate it right away. The pizza was water moisture soggy wet, floppy, and the cheese and toppings slid right off. It felt more like waterlogged bread than pizza. I had to re-cut it just to get a slice. If you’re expecting anything crisp or structured, you’ll be disappointed. I would’ve thrown it out, but I was short on money and ate half before tossing the rest.

My first experience with Front Street Deli on 8th Street in Altoona was the most unforgettable dinner. Unfortunately, because I'm not from the area and I wasn't sure the name of the restaurant or my exact location, I wasn't able to revisit the restaurant again for more than 9 years. But, my experience today was just as amazing as it was 9+ years ago. The inside is always spotless clean. I was greeted as soon as I entered. The helpful, warm, and welcoming young man at the register took our order, 1 slice of the Buffalo Chicken pizza, our payment, and advised 10-15 minutes. While we waited, my husband used the restroom, which is said was clean, and I waited in the lobby and eyeballed the claw game. I'm actually not sure what I'm most excited about right now, the fact that I finally found the restaurant or the fact that I spent $4, $1 each turn, and won a rubber duck each turn and a bag of dip and dots. The young man behind the counter brought out my slice of pizza just as I spent my last $1 bill. Pizza was perfect when we sat down to eat it. Not too much sauce, not too many heavy toppings, just perfect! I will recommend Front Street Deli to ALL my friends and family. Thank you fo
